Swimming with Nong Ja, Isaan Thailand.

Nong Ja and Swimming
Ja and I off on a little adventure.
Nong Ja and Swimming
Off to the Sunee Grand Hotel pool. It was swimming or off to the zoo and the zoo had no chance.

We got there a little later than I hoped as I was worried it would get too hot. We arrived around 11am and there was only two other people at the pool. It was a little warm but there is shade along one edge of the pool. The pool decking gets burning hot though.

And no fear for Ja. She was jumping into the deep pool completely submerging herself and on the odd occasion taking in a mouthful of water but she loved it so much. Around 12.30pm I finally convinced her enough was enough for today with the promise of an earlier arrival next weekend.

Swimming made us hungry and we were wandering around Sunee Mall when Ja took a liking to the big Jeffer Steak sign. I tried to convince of trying another place but her mind was set.

My cheese burger arrived and it was okay for the price. Ja got stuck into teh chips.

Her chicken and chips arrived and she tucked in.

We were in the car no more than a minute after leaving Sunee and Ja was fast asleep. It was home and a mid afternoon nap for a few hours.

An amazing day with my little girl.

What is it about kids and water? I go swimming with my daughter every Saturday - as soon as her feet dip into the water she squeals with joy. :-)
